Her only clue: a letter addressed to Miss Millie DeBoer–aka the belle of Black Ball, the city’s most infamous night club. But Black Ball was busted by the cops, and no one knows where, or if, this moving party will pop up next….

Raised by strict parents for the sole purpose of marrying into a good family, Emily is defeatist at best, a doormat at worst. She recently had measles, which caused her to miss her coming out and put her at a societal disadvantage. Her one vice in life is smoking.
Chester Radison
Age: 25
A smooth-talking, swing dancing, gin and cigars connoisseur. Which is to say, he has terrible taste in both. He knows all the best spots for spells and booze in Manhattan, and is a usual on the scene. But he doesn’t seem to have a real job, and no one is really sure where he goes during the day.
Amelia Trent
Age: 21
Emily’s older sister. Emily always thought Amelia was the model goodie two-shoes, but it seems like she may have been involved in the illegal spellcrafting trade. But how did she get involved?
