Originally, Maude didn’t have a big role in Black Ball. She appeared in one scene and that was it. However, I knew that Emily was gonna need some allies in this cruel world and so Maude evolved from there to the role she has now. She also got a brother so, win-win all around! Now you know a little bit of behind the scenes information!
