Panel 2:
Inside of the car. Mr. Trent is driving while Emily sits in the passenger seat.
Mr. Trent: "There will be many eligible young men at the wedding, Emily."

Emily:
"I know, Father."

Panel 3:
Mr. Trent: "You’re finally well enough to be in society again, though missing the debutant ball didn’t help. Maybe it’s not too late for you to take up polo."

Panel 4:
Emily: "You don’t even like polo."

Panel 5:
A street in New York City where the car comes to a stop and parks.
Mr. Trent (inside the car): "Emily, do not try my patience. You know how things are for us right now."
