I have GOT to include more 20′s slang in here. There are too many good phrases to pass up on.
Also, it’s October 1st! So you know what that means…
Panel 1:
Emily pulls out the suitcase and looks at it, uncertain of what she has.
Emily: “What the heck is this?”
Panel 2:
Emily moves to the dressing table, looking over her shoulder at the door.
Emily: “If Amelia was hiding this…Hope Mom and Dad are busy.”
Panel 3:
Emily places the suitcase down on the table, her hand moving over the surface.
Emily: “Love letters? Cigars? Maybe even…”
Panel 4:
Emily opens the latch of the suitcase.
SFX: Click!
Panel 5:
She lifts the lid of the suitcase.
Emily: “Giggle juice-?”
Note: Giggle Juice — 20’s slang for booze.
Panel 6:
A close up of Emily’s widening eye.
Panel 7:
The suitcase, open on the dressing table. Inside are all kinds of bottles and boxes and papers shoved between. The bottles have different inks and other liquids in them.
Emily: “A spellcrafting kit?!”
