Panel 1:
Henry and Maude walk down the hallway.
Henry:
"The trouble is we only know Amelia's death date."

Maude:
"What about the newspaper? Mr. Tuppering was a reporter, so we can see when his last article was."

Panel 2:
Emily is walking ahead of them in the same hall.
Emily:
"My father keeps old newspapers! I bet we could find out if we looked through them!"

Panel 3:
Emily, addressing her father from the doorway:
"Father, can we look through your newspaper pile?"

Father (holding newspaper):
"Yes, just put them back when you're finished. Glad to see you're taking an interest in current events."

Panel 4:
Emily brings the stack of newspapers into the dining room, where Henry and Maude are waiting with a full pitcher of water.

Panel 5:
Later, the pitcher of water on the table with scattered newspapers, looking almost empty. Some time has passed.
Emily:
"I think we've got it!"
